Outcast Grill is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant with a friendly staff. I occasionally visit when I'm traveling to San Diego. On a relaxed evening, we decided to dine at Outcast Grill. I ordered the mahi burger with a side of spicy fries. The sandwich looked incredible, and the taste and presentation didn't disappoint. However, the mahi was slightly dry, even though I ordered it blackened. The flavor was there but it might have been cooked a tad too long. Despite that, I would still highly recommend this place. The meal was enjoyable, and I plan to return.

Nice little restaurant in a quiet community. There is not much other restaurants in the area. The outdoor seating is lovely. The day we went was cloudy but it will be much prettier on a sunny day. Service is good, everyone is friendly and welcoming. We tried original cheeseburger and shawarma and they are both good. We will try their Pizza next time. The price is on the higher side, not for everyday.

Great little spot in San Diego’s University City neighborhood. We went for brunch and the bacon benedict and breakfast burrito (added carne asada) were both amazing! Great outdoor area with plenty of room to enjoy. No liquor, but beer and champagne with brunch:). Friendly and fast service. Great spot if you’re in the UC area of SD!

Maybe I tried this place out on a bad night. Service was weird. They told me I could pick my table then said it was reserved. Then someone said they were already sitting there. The food was average at best. Very bland and my food was somewhat cold. I will not try this spot again. Extremely surprised with the high rating. I can see it being good if you have kids. Other than that, hard pass.

Super cute patio and some of the best hummus in town. Dog friendly and they always have a good selection of craft beer. The shawarma will give you a 2nd meal for sure. Don't pass this place up!

Great neighborhood restaurant and beer bar serving Tunisian-inspired dishes among other American favorites such as pizza and tacos. I used to live withing walking distance and truly do miss this place. Their beef kofta kebab is my favorite, though I enjoy the lamb lollipops as well.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Friendly staff. I visit here on occasion when I’m traveling to San Diego. We decided for an easy night and went to eat at Outcast Grill. I ordered the mahi burger with a side of spicy fries. The sandwich looked amazing. The taste and presentation were great. The mahi was a little dry. I ordered it blackened. The flavor was there but maybe cooked a little too long. I’d still recommend this place. The meal was still good and I’ll be back.

Maybe save this spot for the locals. We didn’t have a good experience here and the food wasn’t great. Nice seating area though and it got my hopes up. We god a calzone and fish and chips both were underwhelming and lacked a bit of flavor. Our server also never checked on us
